situated on the rooftop of a 7-storey inner city office building, this 3-module penthouse was craned into position in 4 hours on a saturday night.
our client was looking for an innovative solution to both the design and construct component of his project and modscape was the clear choice to meet these needs.
the living and entertaining elements of our design were sited at the front of the building to take full advantage of the panoramic views of the Melbourne skyline. a link to the accommodation module, which consists of a master bedroom with walk-in-robe and en-suite, 2 additional double bedrooms and separate bathroom, was created using a smaller module that acts as both a point of entry and a study that is cleverly concealed behind sliding doors.
prefabricated pergolas were craned into position at the same time as the modules resulting in an instant, beautiful and stunningly functional home without any of the usual hassles and costs associated with traditional multi-storey construction
