Brutalist Lego

If you are looking for a hands-on activity, get on Instagram and be inspired by the Insta account of Arndt Schlaudraff’s. He’s been busy recreating and photographing mini-replicas of famous buildings using purely LEGO pieces.

What began as a project to distract him from the computer screen, quickly turned into a beautiful, creative obsession.

Alongside his elaborate new creations, Schlaudraff soon realised there was a perfect marriage of styles between the Brutalist and Modernist architecture and the boxy composition of LEGO.

Schlaudraff began recreating intricate structures such as the Eiffel Tower, Falling Water by Frank Lloyd Wright and the Forum Hotel in Krakow.
