Modscape’s Josh Chaplin To Share Expertise On Modular Housing
Modscape’s Josh Chaplin will be exploring prefab and modular housing at Renew’s Sustainable House Day on Tuesday 21 May, 2024.
Sustainable House Day, an initiative from Renew, offers an incredible chance to step inside some of Australia’s leading sustainable homes. As part of the open-day tours, Renew CEO Helen Oakey will be hosting a panel discussion with leading architects and experts, including Modscape’s Josh Chaplin (New Business Director).
The online event, titled “Out of the Box: Prefab and Modular House Design,” promises to explore the evolving landscape of prefab and modular housing. Oakey will lead a discussion on the benefits of offsite construction, such as rapid installation times, affordability, and sustainable outcomes.
Joining Chaplin in the discussion is Sophia MacRae, Policy and Program Officer at the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
